哈佛大学“中国大智汇”大学生社会企业大赛(China Thinks Big - Harvard Social En
trepreneurship Conference,简称HSEC)正在面向全国大学生报名!

这是一场大学生社会企业创业方案的国际赛事,由哈佛大学官方直属机构主办,哈佛商学
院、哈佛大学东亚研究中心、哈佛上海中心全程评审与指导。在这场竞赛中,来自全世界
各地的大学生将深入思考身边的社会议题,并且通过社会企业创业(Social Entrepreneu
rship)的方式提出一个在经济和资源上具有可持续性的有效解决方案。

参赛学生将有机会在2014年2月18-22日受邀前往美国哈佛大学校园,与哈佛商学院的教授
、各界精英企业家进行面对面的交流,并在他们的指导下完善和启动创业方案。决赛将于
2014年3月21-22日于哈佛上海中心举行。

The China Thinks Big - Harvard Social Entrepreneurship Conference (HSEC) warml
y invites undergraduate students from around the world to apply for its spring
2014 incubator at Harvard University. HSEC provides future social entrepreneu
rs and business leaders an opportunity to develop innovative business plans un
der the guidance of Harvard Business School professors and leaders in social e
ntrepreneurship. Over the past three years, HSEC (formerly named the Harvard A
TVenture Competition) has helped hundreds of ambitious college students worldw
ide transform their ideas into real social enterprises and create measurable s
ocial impact in China. Its annual spring incubator has invited a select group
of finalists from China, Korea, Australia, and the U.S. to Harvard University,
providing the intellectual experience of a lifetime.

This year, HSEC will select 20 teams of college student entrepreneurs from all
applicants worldwide to participate in the 2014 spring incubator at Harvard d
uring February 18-22. The final competition will be held at the Harvard Center
Shanghai during March 21-22.

HSEC is organized by the Harvard Association for U.S.-China Relations (HAUSCR)
, an official Harvard organization and U.S. Federal 501(c)3 nonprofit dedicate
d to fostering cross-cultural exchange between the United States and China. It
operates under guidance of an advisory board which includes Professor William
C. Kirby, Director of Harvard Fairbank Center for Chinese Studies, Professor
Anthony Saich, Director of Asian Programs at Harvard Kennedy School of Governm
ent, Mr. Stephen Orlins, President of the National Committee on U.S.-China Rel
ations, and Mr. John Thornton, former president and CEO of Goldman Sachs. HAUS
CR's programs include the 2008 Beijing Olympics Committee's official student a
mbassador visit to 11 top universities in North America, the 2010 Shanghai Wor
ld Expo's official youth program, and the annual Harvard Summit for Young Lead
ers in China.
