Applications are invited for a Postdoctoral Scientist in the group of Dr. Yili
ang Ding at the John Innes Centre to study the role of in vivo RNA structure i
n plant response to stress. The successful candidate will join a team at JIC
working on multiple aspects of experimentation: genome-wide in vivo RNA struct
ure analysis, targeted individual RNA structure characterisation, biological f
unction analysis and corresponding bioinformatics analysis.
The successful applicant will have an excellent biology or/and chemistry or/ b
ioinformatics background. Experience of transcriptome study and regulation of
gene expression are desirable but not essential.
The John Innes Centre is a world-class institute and is looking to appoint an
exceptional and highly motivated candidate who has, or expects to soon receive
a PhD in Biology or Chemistry or Bioinformatics. We will provide the job-hold
