What do we need from you?
Office of the CTO, EMC Incorporated, is seeking an industry leader to join
our organization in China.
This person will align the work by CTO organizations in China with key
strategic technology initiatives of the company. A successful candidate
will be able to collaborate with other product groups in China and the rest
of the company, with a global mindset and focus on the certain horizontal
segment or vertical market.
This person will help strengthen the relationship between EMC and
universities, industry and government in the region by participating in
relevant forums and standard bodies. Through these activities, the person
will also be able to identify and interpret trends in technology and
government requirements, develop local market intelligence and help CTO
office to develop strategy and acquisition plans.
This person will help drive technical programs in Office of the CTO and
APJ/China COE, strengthen its technical ladder and build local engineering
community.
This person will be a tireless evangelist of Office of CTO and EMC in cross
business units engagement and customer facing event in promoting EMC’s
technologies, solutions, products and etc.
Qualifications and factors for success:
A successful career as a research or engineering leader with minimum of
15 years of experience
