China Scholarship Council - University of Padova Scholarships
The University of Padova and the China Scholarship Council (CSC) have created
a scholarship programme to enable talented Chinese students to undertake a PhD
programme at Padova.
The scholarships build on Padova University’s existing relationship with Chin
a. It has, in fact, extensive research links with Chinese research institution
s and Universities. This scheme provides Chinese students who demonstrate acad
emic excellence and leadership potential with the opportunity to study for a P
hD at the University of Padova. They are supported jointly by the China Schola
rship (on behalf of the Chinese Ministry of Education) and the University of P
adova.
The scholarship will cover:
A grant for average living costs, one return flight from China to Italy, a con
tribution to attend conferences.
The University of Padova exempts candidates from the payment of tuition fees,
while the amounts due for stamp duty, insurance and regional contribution to t
he right to education must be paid.
Awards are made for the full duration of your fee liability for the agreed cou
rse.
