EMC CTD VNX seeks a seasoned engineering leader to develop a strong team
which focuses on the future technology and next generation product in
storage industry.
What does VNX File Service team do?
He/she is responsible for:
Own backlog and priority of cohesive product components, lead the end
to end delivery for one of the most important and complex component area
teams – file service team, this team is responsible for delivery of the
file system service functionalities.
Participates in both long-range release planning as well as
defines/drives fast-paced iterative project schedule using agile/scrum
practices
Manage a large group of development and test engineers performing
multiple and varied engineering tasks and specialties
Deeply involved in the development of operational goals as well as
engineering specifications
Provides technical direction to engineers dedicated to designing,
developing complex engineering processes or products and driving work plans.
Regularly interacts with senior managers, architects and executives to
establish broad technical direction related to several functional areas,
divisions and/or customers.

Provides innovative solutions to complex problems, communicates
progress toward project/program goals.
Develops functional processes and operational policies within the area
managed
Responsible for implementing operational and strategic policies,
directives as well as sharing information with related groups/projects.
Interface with senior management to report on project and program
milestones and to present project needs
Develops and provides challenging yet appropriate assignments,
evaluates work, communicates progress toward career development and goals.
Coach and develop the first line managers and tech leads in the team
Creates schedules and work plans
Qualifications and factors for success:
