Working under direct supervision and following established practices,
provides technical assistance to the development of infrastructure
solutions and management of same varying scope and complexity.
Must have ability to effectively prioritize work assignments and work in a
team environment. Candidate should possess excellent problem solving
skills.
Must work under minimal direction and exercise considerable latitude and
provide technical expertise in developing business solutions. Suitable
candidates will have the opportunity to work in a fast paced R&D
environment, involved in sustaining existing products and developing next
generation software applications.
A co-op position is available in the design, management and support of Test
Infrastructure solutions. Ideal candidates should possess a mix of both
hardware and network knowledge with ideally an emphasis on virtual machines
and Vmware tools.
Principal Duties and Responsibilities:
Supports manufacturing on the test automation platform
Communicates to and Collaborate with key stake holder in manufacturing
process
Installs and administers systems/environments
Tuning of operating system, basic devices and researching patches
Provides technical expertise by independently determining and
developing approaches to solutions for a moderate range of complex problems
occurred in the manufacturing sites. Uses judgment and creativity and sound
technical knowledge to obtain and recommend solutions.
Some coding and programming
Sphere of influence may extend outside of work group or department.
What do we need from you:
Problem solving and Analytical skills.
General knowledge and application of engineering concepts.
Communication skills.
Ability to analyze information and draw accurate conclusions.
Time management skills.
Possesses strong product/technology/industry knowledge.
Proficiency in hardware, software, network, and/or operating systems
environments.
Knowledge of .NET skills.
