Job Description
As a Senior Software Engineer, you will be a member within BRS CTH China deve
lopment team. The team, based in Tsinghua Science Park Beijing, is a part of
CTH global team and contributes to develop a testing cloud infrastructure for
BRS internal users. The daily job will focus on:
- Work with our customers within engineering to gather and discuss re
quirements;
- Create documentation for new features;
- Develop and maintain CTH test plans in conjunction with teams;
- Extend testing infrastructure access to multiple development sites;
- Develop and maintain deployment program and continuous integration
environment;
- Support BRS automated testing process for CTH integration with addi
tional test automation frameworks.
- Support engineering customers with engagement;
Qualifications
- M.S. in C.S or related areas with a minimum of 1-2+ years experienc
e (B.S with 3+ years experience);
- Strong hands-on and trouble shooting skills;
- Good knowledge and experience with web application administration o
r development;
- Strong experience in Unlix/Linux and Windows system administration
and networking;
- Good knowledge and experience with Continuous Integration process a
nd tools;
- Good object-oriented programming skills;
- Good experience with Perl or Shell script;
- Experience with Ruby on Rails is a plus;
- Good knowledge on software build, test automation and automation in
frastructure;
- Knowledge and experience with vSphere or other virtualization platf
orm is a plus;
- Has knowledge on database administration(PostgreSQL or MySQL);
- Familiar with Agile;
- A plus for experience with software tools such as IBM Rational prod
ucts, Perforce, Bugzilla and source code management tools;
- Good documentation skills;
- Good communication skills(in both Chinese & English);
- Quick learner, self-starter, flexible, adaptable, be proactive and
able to manage multiple tasks in a dynamic, fast-paced environment;
