EMC ASD seeks a well performed engineer to make things work.
What does ASD do? EMC's Advanced Software Division is building cutting
edge cloud production and solution that will change people’s daily life.
As part of global ASD team, ASD Shanghai team is working on Atmos product
which is the one EB solution for EMC’s cloud object storage.
What do we need from you?
As a member of ASD engineering team, you are expected to be responsible for
design, development, and maintenance of high quality code.
Additional responsibilities include participation in and contribution to
software functional/design reviews, writing functional/design
specifications, providing white papers as appropriate to describe advanced
technology, and to initialize and develop test plans.
You need to have rich experiences in Linux system programming and be
familiar with distributed/cloud storage system. You must demonstrate
flexibility, strong self -motivation, and a proven record of meeting
aggressive deadlines as well as the ability to work as part of a
cross-functional team spanning multiple geographical locations.
Qualifications and factors for success:
3+ years software development experience, distributed and storage
system skill is a plus
Great C/C++ programing skill under Linux environment, python and shell
script skill is a plus
System level debugging and troubleshooting skill
Good English communication in paper and oral
Hard working and good team player
