What do we need from you?
Office of the CTO, EMC Incorporated, is seeking an industry leader to join
our organization in China.
This person will align the work by CTO organizations in China with key
strategic technology initiatives of the company. A successful candidate
will be able to collaborate with other product groups in China and the rest
of the company, with a focus on the regional market.
This person will help strengthen the relationship between EMC and
universities, industry and government in the region by participating in
relevant forums and standard bodies. Through these activities, the person
will also be able to identify and interpret trends in technology and
government requirements, develop local market intelligence and help CTO
office to develop strategy and acquisition plans.
This person will help drive technical programs in China COE, strengthen its
technical ladder and build local engineering community.
Qualifications and factors for success:
A successful career as a research or engineering leader with minimum of
6 years of experience
Widely recognized by the industry and/or academia
Deep understanding of technology trends and its impact to EMC
Deep understanding of local market, university, industry and government
